Projects Abstract

Project Obiectives

The idea of "Knitted Fabrics with Inovative Structures Characterised by 3D Stitch Geometry Generated by Specific Stress State" was generated in time after noticing the cause-effect correlation between fabric structure and form. For example the sandwich farics are 3D knitted fabrics, while the knitted structures with inclined wales are 2D fabrics with a parallelogram form. The idea was also started with the fact that complex structures are characterised by a complex residual stress state.
